Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Support of the existing PeopleSoft HCM v9.1 application (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits Administration) consisting of defect resolution, maintenance pack analysis, process monitoring, third-party product support (CA Autosys, KRONOS, Interactive Hub)
  • Provide production support to systems according to the “on call” schedule as needed.
  • Provide technical design, development of code using PeopleSoft programming tools/languages
  • Prepare and administer unit and systems tests to QA new programs and code changes
  • Ability to facilitate project migrations between multiple instances
  • Development and documentation of standard operating procedures 
  • Use of formal systems life-cycle methodology and disciplined development processes is required. 
  • This position will involve working with functional team and systems analysts to define requirements, develop technical specifications, and customize delivered functionality or develop new functionality and testing of applications. Evaluation of new functionality and third party software in preparation for system implementations.
  • A background in Human Resources business processes and awareness of technological capabilities and industry practices will be invaluable for this individual to succeed as a technology partner to the business.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  •  BA or BS degree preferred and/or other relevant combination of training and experience

 Experience:

  • 2 years of Industry experience preferred
  • Minimum 4 year experience as Software Engineer with the PeopleSoft HCM product.
  • PeopleSoft HCM Version 9.1.
  • PeopleTools 8.51+.
  • Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, PL SQL, SQR, Query, Component Interface, Messaging, Workflow, Linux, etc.
  • General knowledge of Oracle database, Unix, and NT programming environments 
  • Scripting languages (UNIX Shell scripting, Windows batch files, etc.) a plus
  • Experience writing technical specifications.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Cloud solutions a plus.
  • Solid Payroll Experience a plus
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools a plus.

 Travel Requirements:

  •  May require local travel

 Working Arrangements:

  • May require after hours on call support
  • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
